Engaging with industry and governmental frameworks
Brody Bassett serves as Government & External Relations Manager at EZRS, guiding stakeholder engagement and supporting communications to connect EZRS with government and industry priorities. His concurrent roles as VP, Defense Trade Policy at the Global Defense & Industry Alliance (GDIA) and Executive Director of the Colorado Defense & Industry Coalition (CDIC) keep him actively engaged in trade policy across the public and private sectors, giving him a practiced eye for building trust with the stakeholders who shape EZRS’s external landscape.
Brody’s public-private fluency was shaped by earlier roles at the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo, advising companies and governments on trade compliance and market entry.
Brody holds a dual degree in Political Science and History from Davidson College and was named an alternate for a Fulbright Economic Research Project focused on free trade zone investment in the UAE — bringing an economics and policy lens to how he helps EZRS navigate government relationships and external partnerships.
